A Coruña Maritime Control Tower

The Maritime Control Tower of A Coruña was built as a compensation for the accident of the tanker Aegean Sea near the entrance of the harbour. As usual, necessary things come only after a big disgrace...

Built in 1995, this tower is one of the highest buildings in the city -81 m tall-, and she is well known because of her peculiar architecture.

Torre de Sandiás

Ésto es lo que queda de la Torre de Sandiás (S.XI-XII), una de las cuatro torres que permitían vigilar la planicie de la Limia en tiempos bélicos de la Edad Media -o lo que es lo mismo, siempre-. Desde la torre se llegan a ver puntos situados a unos diez kilómetros de distancia, lo cual os parecerá ridículo si sois de un lugar plano, pero a la gente de Galicia nos parece algo bastante espectacular.
