Cruisespotting

People who know me well -and not so well, actually- know that I have a strange fixation - some people call it "me encanta"- on anything that moves faster than a person and has engine and/or wheels. That would include cars, bikes, planes -sure you know I like them-, helicopters, excavators, trucks, supermarket trolleys... and cruise ships.

Planes, planes everywhere

Two weeks ago I have been to Lavacolla Airport (SCQ) spotting some planes. I know, here in Galician airports we can only see the smallest ones, like the A319, the A320 or the B737, but sometimes, if you are very lucky, you can take a photo of an Airbus 343 -not landing nor taking off, just in flight, of course-, a Canadair or a private jet in the same morning.

As you can see, I was SO lucky that day...

Aviones (en tierra o cerca de ella)

El lunes pasado hice una de las estupideces más grandes que recuerdo, entendiendo por estupidez aquel acto que solo sirve para perder tiempo, salud y/o dignidad, y del que no se obtiene beneficio alguno. La estupidez consistió en seguir tres vuelos seguidos -de Vigo a Madrid, de Madrid a Londres y de Londres a Pekín- a través de internet, utilizando los medios que puse en la entrada anterior y algunos más -páginas de los aeropuertos, Libhomeradar, Flightaware e incluso una web en la que salen fotos de todos los aterrizajes en Heathrow casi en tiempo real-.
