Training at Xalo

If you go the 28th and 29th of April to Xalo Downhill Race at Culleredo (A Coruña), this is what you will find: more than 30 steps in the upper section, three rock sections, not so much pedalling, 60 km/h top speed... The track has improved a lot from the last season's, and in fact, it's all new except from the final trail section.

Si vais el 28 y 29 de Abril al Descenso ao Xalo en Culleredo (A Coruña) esto es lo que os vais a encontrar: más de 30 escalones en la parte inicial, tres trialeras, no demasiado pedaleo, 60 km/h de velocidad máxima... El circuito ha mejorado mucho con respecto al del año pasado, y de hecho, es todo nuevo menos la última sección.

I've been there last weekend looking for spots to shoot, looking over almost the entire track -and giving my approval to it, of course haha-, and doing some exercise walking up and down the mountain. And I have to say the track is pretty nice: it looks fast, no so much demanding -physically speaking- and with some tricky sections where you can make the difference, like this video shows:

Estuve allí el fin de semana pasado mirando sitios para afotar, revisando casi todo el circuito -y dando mi aprobación, por supuesto jaja-, y haciendo algo de ejercicio subiendo y bajando la montaña. Y tengo que decir que el circuito está bastante bien: parece rápido, no demasiado exigente -físicamente hablando- y con algunas secciones complicadas donde se puede marcar la diferencia, como se ve en este vídeo:

Photographycally speaking the day wasn't too bad -not so good either- and I found some cool and bad spots to take photos on the day of the race. And there you have them, some pictures of that day:
